Palawan has only so much forest cover, each hectare removed without proper scientific evaluation, means more less biodiversity to sustain it's flora and fauna; its creatures will disappear.

Illegal wildlife trade has been disastrous in Palawan. Even the wonderful scaly anteater or pangolin is almost extinct there
